• Make sure that anything that you put on your page is relevant (photos, links, music, etc.) to the time period of this novel

HOW YOU WILL BE MARKED

The following criteria are how you will be marked on this assignment. Please refer to this often to ensure that you are meeting all requirements.
- Overall use of blog: There are a minimum of eight required entries (on your own site). You are also required to comment on the blogs of your classmates. Please remember appropriate comments only.
- Using evidence from text: Your blog should demonstrate creative engagement pertaining to key events in the text. Remember, specific facts!
- Personal response to key concepts: Blog entries should convey extensive evidence of a personal response to the events in the text and demonstrate the author's (a character in the story) growth through reflection.
- Engaged writing: Blog entries should show a very good command of Standard English and have some flair and orginality.

Intro to the Book

I think that this book is a great book for kids in Grade 8 - it has all the things you like to hear about: parties, fighting and cars!
